Sign Works has a state-of-the-art purpose-built 145,000 square foot facility based in Dubai Production City. Our facility incorporates more than 20 departments all under one roof allowing us to become a true one-stop-shop. CNC Router Cutting
CNC routers are computer-controlled machines that are capable of cutting complex two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) shapes with router bits that spin at high speeds. CNC Routing can be applied to raw material sheets, objects or modules up to 5ft x 10ft.
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is usually used in industrial manufacturing. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut. The material then either melts, burns or vaporizes away leaving an edge with a high quality surface finish.
Waterjet Cutting
Waterjet cutting, a process where a jet stream of water is forced through a tiny nozzle at a very high pressure, provides many unique capabilities and advantages that allow the cutting of materials and parts often considered too costly or even impossible with other methods such as laser and die cutting. Water Jet cutters are able to cut through the hardest of materials including stone and metals, leaving smooth, extremely accurate edges.
Carpentry
Our skilled carpenters primary work is performed using a variety of woods (MDF, Plywood, Laminates, White Woods etc) and joinery. With careful craftsmanship we are able to construct displays of all sizes including exhibition stands and props. Carpentry includes cutting, sanding, seaming, followed by a clean paint job.
Metal Fabrication
Utilizing our laser-cutting and water-jet cutting machines we can cut aluminum, stainless steel, brass and bronze. We weld materials together in order to produce signage, totems and structures. Finishes include: polishing, brushing, sandblasting, powder-coating, acid-etching and chrome plating.
Acrylic Fabrication
We can take large rigid sheets of plastic and then cut, drill, rout, polish, bend, mould, bevel, turn and form into great designs and displays.
Fiberglass Molding
Fiberglass is a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. It is used a make moulds to produce items in large quantity. We can custom fabricate almost any design idea in any size.
Spray Painting
Spray painting is a painting technique where a device sprays a coating (paint, ink, varnish, etc.) onto a surface. With our own airtight spray booth and dry booth, we are able to paint evenly and dust free onto a variety of surfaces including metal and wood.
Digital Printing
We have a dedicated team for digital printing, plotter cut vinyl, and application. We have a large range of printers that run 24 hours. We provide hanging banners, wall murals, pop-up banners, light boxes and more.
Electrical & Lighting
With our own qualified electricians in house, we are able to provide the perfect lighting for signage, light boxes, displays and custom designs. Our certified electricians use the latest technology of LED lighting to brighten up your displays.
Acid Etching
Etching is the process of using strong acid to cut into the unprotected parts of a metal surface to create a design. Sign Works produces the finest etched and engraved signs, plaques and design elements.
